Rather belatedly I write to say we had a 
great cruise on 12 to 19 March.  We spent 
a further week with the family at Danville 
before returning home to Scotland last week.

The week floated by very quickly as there 
was so much to do. When you selected our 
stateroom 5578 I had not realised what a 
good choice it was.  Right in the centre 
of the ship, very convenient for going up 
to the restuarants and down to the 
disembarking exit just below us. Thank you or
should I say mahalo !!

The weather was mixed, dry up on the volcano 
but very wet at Maui, bright sunshine at Kauai.

We tried five different restuarants, all very 
good in their own style.  The travel arrangements 
went very smoothly both going and coming back to
SFO. NCL have introduced a new service  ($20) 
allowing you to have your luggage checked in on 
the ship so that they go straight thru to SFO with no
further queuing - we were pleased that we did this 
as it avoided any hassle.

Thanks again for all your help and advice. We are 
now thinking about a trip to Alaska next year if 
circumstances and health permit.
